After I listen
to other people's goals, I start to get panic because I feel that I am not
achieving many goals this year. I am still searching for my passion and
understand myself. Some of my friends have achieved their goal. Initially, I
feel sad because I feel that I am not good when compare to them. After I calm
down and ask myself, is it other people the same as my goal? Definitely not.
Nowadays, the smartphone has become an essential tool in our life. Everyone can
share their goal achievement in social media. Therefore, most of the people are
easily influenced by others and feel that is not enough to achieve their own
goal. They want to compare themselves to others. Don’t try to pursue the goal
set by other people. This is the life that other people want. Try to find a
quiet place and sit down to reflect and discover yourself. Follow your inner
voice and plan your goal according to your ideal life.
Moreover, set a goal that you genuinely want
to achieve in life. Don’t compare
yourself to others and don't care how other people look at you. Just be yourself.
Imagine that you are the snake and another person is the ax. When you are
crawling around, the person falls from the cupboard and hit you. You are
feeling angry and you bite the people. Is the person hurt? No. If you take
other people's comments or criticism too seriously, you are suffering because
you hate them. Other person do not know you hate them. Therefore, try to
identify your weakness and improve them. Avoid hurt feelings if you are scolded
by other people. The hard feeling will not sustain for a long time. One day it
will go away and you can continue to live with your happy life.
