     Pride is the moment that you are proud of yourself! It is the feeling that you feel good about yourself. It is a moment that worth celebrating and reward! Moment of pride is like a highlight reel of our life. It is a good memory that always stays inside your brain. There are two types of feelings of prides exist in our life. They are external pride and internal pride. 

    External pride is the pride that is given by society. It is the moment when you receive a compliment from others, receive applause from the audience, or reward from the boss. Imagine you are standing on the stage, a spotlight shines on you and you receive thunderous applause from the  audience.  Do you feel good? It is the moment that most of us craving for life. It is like a moment that worth remember because your hard work paid off. It boosts your confidence without looking back at your failure moment. You indulge in the proudest moment. 

Stage

       How to create more external pride moments? Join a competition. Competition is the platform for you to showcase your talent. Enjoy the process and don't focus on results. Try your best and push yourself during each practice session. During the competition, reappraising the pre-performance anxiety as excitement. Synchronize your body and mind and believe you can win the competition.  The moment of the winning is external pride moment. You deserve it. If you lose, you win yourself because you dare to try.  Learn from the process and transform it into internal pride.

Marathon

    Internal pride is the pride that you achieve your own goal in life. Most of us know SMART goals. The goal must be your own dream goal. If you achieve it, you feel good yourself. It is like unlock a small achievement.  At this moment, internal pride arises. This is pride when you recognize your achievement. It can improve your self-efficacy. It is a belief that you can achieve a difficult task. 

    How to create more internal pride moments? Break down big goals into small goals and commit to them. The small goal must be small enough for you to do it as fast as possible. It can prevent procrastination and change your life.  When you achieve a small goal, the moment of internal pride is created. It is the pride that comes from your inner heart. For example, your big goal is to complete a 10km marathon. Today you have finished a 3 km run! It is the internal pride moment. Next time you can plan a 5km run Increase the difficult level of goal and try our best to achieve it. Persistency is the key to success.

Running

    Every achievement is supported by others.  When you achieve your goal, remember that your family and friends. There are the people who always motivate you and support you.  When you get a promotion at work, don't forget your mentor who always guides you and teaches you at work. Pay a gratitude visit to them. The rush of happiness appears when you express your gratitude. You also feel proud when you recognize others. Recognize others will make a positive difference in someone's life. You create a memory for them that would last for years!
