       Nowadays, the covid-19 pandemic has struck us so hard. It changes the world tremendously. Social distancing,wear a face mask and sanitize your hand has become new normal in our life. 

        All of us need to adapt to the new lifestyle. Pandemic has changed our working life too. Employees are required to work from home to prevent the transmission of the virus.There are no boundaries between working time and leisure time during working from home. Sometimes they overcommit to work because they receive a phone call to solve an urgent issue. They may also be distracted because they need to take care of their family members when they are working from home. They are in a hustle state. As a result, they are exhausted and less motivated.   Are you encounter the same situation ? Although the covid 19 cases have increased drastically, it means that you need to compromise with the current situation?  The answer is no! Here I will provide 2 ways to help you sustain a high energy level in your life.

       First way is to live with purpose. Purpose is like sunlight. It helps us light up our journey so that we can walk slowly and confidently.The purpose is so important because it is the base structure. It holds you tight and stays resilient.Purpose is like the root of the tree. When there is a thunderstorm, the root can hold the tree tightly and dance in the rain. It is similar to life.  When there are challenges in our life,  we can confront and overcome them in our way because the purpose holds us tightly. 
            
        How to live with purpose? You must have a personal vision statement. For example, you can write down a vision statement:
I am here to share my expertise knowledge with people. When more people acquire the knowledge, they are ready to apply their knowledge at work and contribute to society. Next, set reachable goals and progress deliberately. 

       How to share knowledge confidently? Join the toastmaster club! Toastmaster club is a platform for me to speak and deliver my speech.  I have seen my improvement in terms of confidence and clarity in the past three years. I believe that I will improve more in the coming future.  It has become my ritual to attend the toastmaster club meeting.

        Ritual is a routine that I am doing constantly. It requires less willpower to carry out the rituals. Why? This is because I will do it without making a decision consciously at that time. I join the toastmaster meeting once every two weeks because it is aligned with my values and conviction.  It is achievable after you maintain a habit for least 21 days. Ritual is the small action that helps you to achieve success.

         In the meantime, Reconect with vision and personal values. Do a checklist and be accountable to your action plan, calibrate your sucess and it will help you to gain confidence and be ready to face challenge. It is ok to fail to achieve your goal.  Maybe the goal is not aligned with the vision statement.Maybe the goal is stretched far beyond your capability. Do some reflection and realign again.

       The second way is to have "me time". "Me time" is the private time for yourself. It is the time for you to engage the things that matter to you. For example, you can read a book,meditation or carry out activities that can bring ultimate happiness to you. Now close your eyes and think about which moment you are happy the most? Cycling with your friends? Dance k pop with other dancers? 

         Me time helps you allows you to focus on positive activity and temporary discharge from the stressful environment. It fills up your energy reservoir and prevents burnout. Let me share with you my me time . My "me time" is writing blog and share knowledge with all of you!  I like it because it is the platform for me to express my thoughts and feelings. When I am writing the blog, I feel engaged and relax  because I feel satisfied when I write out all of my knowledge and understanding. It helps me organize my thoughts and ideas.

       Lastly, live with purpose and have "me time" are the two effective ways to help you recharge your positive energy in your daily life.  Start to live happily instead of waiting for the ideal life.
