Everyone of us pursues wealth,health and relationship. We are trying our best to create a life that we are desired. For example, today you wish to learn communication skills.You attend an intensive course to learn about it.When the course is ended, you slack off and didn't apply what you have understand from the course. Does it sound familar to you? If the answer is yes, no worry! Here are two tips to help you get the positive results.
Every big goal is a result of consistency,persistence and patient. If you wish to start to read book to get fit and you start by pushing yourself to complete a book in one day, is it possible? No! It doesn't work like this. How to plan it? You must make a plan that can sustain fifty years but not five days and five weeks.
One good example is the 3-3 plan.It means allocating times for reading 3 days in one week then, allocate 30 minutes for each reading session. It sounds easy right? Start doing it! At first,you may need to put some willpower to overcome your laziness to start reading. Moreover, don't influence by your own emotions. Although you are in bad mood, you must ignore them and focus on reading in these 30 minutes. It is difficult in the beginning. For example, imagine you are pushing a trolley that has a heavy load.A Large amount of force is required to push the trolley right? After your trolley is moving,only a small force is required to maintain trolley at constant velocity. It is smilar to reading habits. As first you need to spend some energy to kickstart the new habit in your life. When you maintain it for a few weeks and see the light in front of you, you can maintain your effort with less energy to keep a positive habit in your life.
After the habit is kicked off, the next challenge is environment. You can set up the environment to support your goals. For example, you can place a book on a small table near your bed.It makes it easier to take up the book and start reading. The book is a cue for you to remind yourself to start reading.
Next, you can join the reading community which supports your reading habit. This person must be someone who has willing to commit to reading habits in life too! Moreover,the person must also care about you and support your growth. You can also ask other expert readers for advice on how to improve reading and digest knowledge well from the book.
The world is changing every second.There are good things and bad things Bear in mind that we always have our choice to choose the environment we wish to focus on.After you set a big goal and know who you want to become, create an environment that can motivate you and give you energy. Choose your friends who support your goal. Imitate the successful people's characteristics and behavior.Although the world is in chaos, you manage to stand firm and say Yes! I can handle it! Stand firm on your personal goal and believe in yourself. A positive environment can help you achieve the goal smoothly.
Lastly, life is a journey not a destination. Focus on journey instead of results. There is nothing forever in this world. Pet get older and dead after few years of stay with the master. Items malfunction after it is used frequently by a human. Set a goal to guide us. Forget about results along the way. The most important things are the experience, feelings and people along the journey that transform you to become a better person.
